Happy New Year, New Website, New Apps, New Updates, New Features - Coming in 2026
We're happy to announce our move to a new website, exciting updates coming this year, and important changes to how we do business.
We’re happy to announce that we’ve moved to our new website! It’s mostly a static site with parts that are still in WordPress.
The logo above is based on the flower of the plum tree - a reminder of our name and that a digital company such as plum amazing has periods of growth, renewal, and other natural cycles over the many years since it’s inception just like a Plum tree.
Nothing’s Changed, As Usual
Hi, I’m Julian Miller, still chai wallah and ceo of plum amazing which in the past was named Script Software. While the website has changed, the commitment to creating fun to use productivity software and supporting our users remains the same.
Lots of Changes Coming This Year
We want many updates this year. Since it’s mainly me (Julian), more automation will be necessary. It was always necessary, but we didn’t have the tools back then that we have now. Now we should be able to answer routine questions and provide information faster that solves people’s problems in advance.
As in the past I value and want to hear your suggestions, comments, and thoughts about the apps and what we should be doing at Plum Amazing. Our users are a wonderfully diverse group of people. Some of you have been using CopyPaste, iClock, etc for almost 30 years! Your points of view, feedback and humor are essential to keeping us pointed in the right direction.
CopyPaste - Almost at 1.0!
Currently, the new CopyPaste is the main app. It’s very close to leaving beta and getting to 1.0, which should be in the next few weeks. It’s become an extraordinarily useful app and I highly recommend that people try it. It’s a free download. All features work for a month and then 85% of features continue to work. CopyPaste has a LOT of features. This can be daunting for a new user. The trick is not to try to grok/fully understand it all at once. Use the new copy and paste features and the Clip history at first. Take your time then slowly check out new features as you have time. We just added Clip Note and already it’s one of most popular. Now with the coming features to Clip Note may it may become the star of the show
CopyPaste Pro (the older app) is still going strong and destined for upgrades this year. It’s possible we will translate it to Apple language called Swift. Swift is easier for us to code in, is more up-to-date and allows for greater optimization and more possibilities. At the same time we will keep the app’s behavior/UI as it is.
Both those apps are fully compatible with Mac OS 26+.
AI Automation for Better Productivity
What I discovered is that the less administrative work I have to do, the more creative and productive work I accomplish. That’s what I enjoy most and users enjoy. There is way too much administrative work and I am going to try to eliminate it with automation. That is the challenge not just for me but businesses worldwide. I’m open to suggestions on how, where and when we can streamline things further.
If you own a business and have challenges with implementing AI automation solutions, Let me know. I’ve learned a lot and I’d like to help.
I want to keep channels open to all of you. I’m hoping to send out a newsletter sometime in the next month or two. That usually ends up being a big ordeal, it’s time automate it. This blog is a step in that direction.
New Store: Lemon Squeezy
We now have a new store called Lemon Squeezy. This helps us in a variety of ways. It allows us to offer subscriptions of various lengths, in addition to the usual permanent licenses for apps like we had been doing. Some people/companies like the opportunity to use an app cheaply for a month or a year. Other people prefer to pay once for a product because they like the cost/time, and then they don’t need to carry a reminder in their head that the time is ticking like with a subscription.
Lemon Squeezy also is the ‘Merchant Of Record’for Plum Amazing, which means that they take care of all sales and taxes for all the US states and countries for taxes. Lemon Squeezy is a company owned by Stripe which is extremely proficient at e-commerce and security. They are specialists and will handle these admin tasks better than we ever could.
Important: New Store vs. Old Store
The new store means that we will be supporting the previous store licenses as well as the new store. You’ll see this on the registration page of every app. There’s a tab at the top that says “New Store” and another tab that says “Old Store.” When you get one of the new licenses, then you will enter that in the new store tab. For those who have licenses from the past, they just continue working as usual.
If you have questions about this, please look for the FAQ on the site in the tech-support area.
Looking Forward
I’m really looking forward to releasing the new updates and surprising people with some of the cool things that we’ve been working on.
A Sad Note
On a sad note, my very good friend and colleague, Mark Fleming, the Canadian coder who created iClock and iWatermark for Mac and helped with many other apps, died in his hometown of Kingston, Ontario. Mark worked at Queen’s University and was loved by a lot of people in town and the university. Why? Because he was just a supportive, big hearted, thoughtful and generous human being. He will be missed and I think of him every day.
Thank you for being part of the Plum Amazing community. Here’s to a productive and innovative 2026!
